The Recreation Department and Community Center is responsible for developing
and managing the youth and recreation programs for the town. The Recreation Department’s Director is Ashley Sweeney (Youth/Recreation Staff Contacts) It offers a wide range of programs, events, and activities for all ages and also oversees the operation of the Rochester Community Center located at 15 Tobacco Road in Accord.
The Department is guided by The Recreation Commission Board, which usually meets
the third Wednesday of the month at the Community Center at 9:30 A.M.
The after school program is a community based program allowing local children to have a safe, fun and inexpensive place to go after school.
PARENTS PLEASE TAKE NOTE: The Town of Rochester has not yet decided to run an After-School Program for the 2021-2022 school year. There are many factors that need to be considered and safety is our number one concern. When more information becomes available, we will notify the public. In the meantime, please feel free to call the Recreation Department with any questions at (845) 626-2115. Thank you for your patience.
