Recreation Commission Minutes
Call to Order: 9:30 am
Present: Pam Stocking-Vice Chair, Manuela Michailescu, Deborah Martin, Bethany Dennin-Assistant Recreation Director.
July minutes will be approved at the September meeting.
Directors Report (Bethany Dennin)
• Summer Program-Huge Success! Discussion about ideas for next year.
• Exercise Classes-Currently we have three classes happening, but on September 13th, Tai Chi will begin and run twice a week for 8 weeks.
• After School Program- No answers yet, but we are hoping to run it at some point. We will wait and see how school goes first.
*Deborah Martin suggests buying an air purification system for the Community Center.
• Heritage Day-Deborah Martin will need $75 for hanging quilts. Marge Bogart e-mailed Deb her entries. E-mail Debbie Martin (post office) a vendor flyer.
