A Special Meeting was held on July 14, 2016 at 8:00am at the Town of Rochester Town Hall regarding a personnel matter with a Town Employee.
PRESENT:
Supervisor Chipman Councilwoman Chachkin Councilwoman Fornino
Councilman Drabkin Councilman Spano Town Clerk Gundberg

Supervisor Chipman opened the meeting.

EXECUTIVE SESSION:

A Motion was made by Councilwoman Chachkin to enter into executive session at 8:02 am to discuss an appeal action. Included in the executive session will be Highway Superintendent Wayne Kelder, Shop Steward Jeffrey Frey, Human Resource Consultant Michael Richardson, IBEW Union Representation Frank Prattingino & Sam Fratto & Town of Rochester Highway Employee.

Seconded by: Councilwoman Fornino 5-0aye, motion carried.

A Motion was made by Councilwoman Chachkin to reconvene the meeting at 9:48am stating no action taken nor monies expended.

APPEAL DETERMINATION OF TOWN EMPLOYEE:

Upon hearing of appeal of termination the Town Board approved the following;
Resolution # 108-2016:

A Motion was made by Councilwoman Chachkin to suspend Town Employee for a 60 day unpaid suspension starting 6/27/16-8/21/16. Said employee must also attend and participate in Anger Management program, sign a last change agreement where he understands that he may be relieved of his duties permanently for any violations of work place policy. Said Employee is also to pay his health insurance for the month of August $ 1418.70, he will receive no loss in seniority or change in pay as of this agreement.
