A Public Hearing was held on November 16, 2015 at 5:00pm at the Town of Rochester Town Hall

Re: Proposed Budget 2016.

PRESENT:

Supervisor Chipman                Councilwoman Chachkin        Councilman Drabkin

Councilman Spano                  Councilwoman Fornino          Attorney Christiana

 

 

 

Supervisor opened the meeting;

 

Supervisor Chipman reviewed the proposed 2016 budget. The proposed budget has a -0.05% tax decrease.

Councilwoman Chachkin found an error on the contingent line.

Supervisor Chipman stated that when he started in 2008 the budget was $ 1,935,015.00 on the general fund side. In 2015 the proposed budget is $ 1,838056.00 on the general fund side.

 

The 2015 overall budget $ 3,308,425.00.

 

The 2016 overall budget is $ 3,308,425.00.

 

 

PUBLIC HEARING CLOSED:

 

A Motion was made by Councilman Drabkin to close the hearing at 5:30pm.

 

Seconded by: Councilwoman Chachkin                     3-0aye,            motion carried
