II. Resolution – Appointment of Position
Recommended Resolution: The Town of Rochester Town Board authorizes the appointment of Timothy Hurley to the position of Clerk, Temporary for the period of April 23, 2021 – May 8, 2020 at a rate of $19.00 per hour not to exceed 35 hours per week. The employee is training with the Bookkeeper/Confidential Secretary to the Supervisor prior to assuming the position.

III. Discussion – Waiver of Town of Rochester Town Code §107-6(B)(6) and §107-6(B)(8)
Possible Recommended Resolution: Pursuant to Town of Rochester Town Code §107-6 and having held a public hearing on April 22, 2021 to receive public comment on the Accord Speedway Inc. request for waiver, the Town of Rochester Town Board [approves/denies] the request by Accord Speedway, Inc. to waive Town of Rochester Town Code §107-6(B)(6) and §107-6(B)(8) to allow racing operations for three consecutive dates on Friday – Sunday September 24, 25, and 26, 2021 and to allow racing on Sunday September 26, 2021.

Possible Recommended Resolution: The Town of Rochester Town Board has received request from Accord Speedway for 1 additional racing date and amends a portion of resolution 248-2020, as amended with resolution 112-2021 to state:
“The Town Board further accepts the racing schedule as presented for 39 actual racing dates and 28 potential rain dates so as to allow racing on September 26, 2021. Dates listed as rain dates may be utilized only to replace a rained out approved event date.”

Discussion – Local Law 2-2021 (Short Term Rental Law) Amending Chapter 140
Possible Recommended Resolution: The Town of Rochester Town Board sets a continuation of the public hearing for Local Law 2-2021, Amendment to Chapter 140, Zoning, to be held May XX, 2021 at 6:30pm at the Harold Lipton Community Center, 15 Tobacco Road, Accord or by video and teleconference in accordance with the Governor’s Executive Order 202.1 and successors, and requests the Town Clerk post notice of the hearing.
