MINUTES of the April 20th, 2023, Town of Rochester Zoning Board of Appeals, held via Zoom for Public Comment and Livestreamed on YouTube.
Chair Zurofsky called the meeting to order at 6:00PM.
The Board Members stood for the Pledge of Allegiance.
The secretary did roll call attendance.

APPLICATION REVIEW:
PUBLIC HEARING/ CONTINUED APPLICATION
ZBA 2023-02 UV – Engracia Jamieson. S/B/L 60.3-2-39.100 – 879 Samsonville Rd
Applicant seeks a variance for proposed 12’ x 24’ gardening storage shed. Parcel is +/- 2.5 acres.
Chair Zurofsky made a motion to classify as an unlisted uncoordinated action. Motion 2nd by?
5 yes, 0 no, 0 abstain.
The board went through the short EAF form.
PUBLIC HEARING:
Nicole Quick “The property that is the most affected by this is my uncle, they wish to have this postponed until they can attend. They want to be able to review the boarders of their properties.”
Neighbor 1 “I am concerned how this will affect the selling of the neighboring property. How will they safely access the shed they are going to build?”
Letter emailed in by Carolyn Baker/ Nancy Striker “We are the beneficiaries of the neighboring property. We are requesting that this Hearing be adjourned for at least a month to give us time to get there to express our concerns. There has been an ongoing disagreement on lot lines between our brother and Ms. Jameson. The proposed building may be very close to our property line if not on our property.”
A motion to keep the public hearing open was made by Mr. Zurofsky. The motion was 2nd by Mr. Fischer.

The board requests the last survey of the property. The board is advising that the applicant figure out road access to the property where they plan on building the shed.
OTHER MATTERS:
The board agreed to hold off on review of the last meeting minutes.

A motion to adjourn was made by Mr. Fischer. 2nd by Mr. Zurofsky.
