Ashley Sweeney presented her (written) DIRECTOR’S REPORT; among the highlights:
• Wreath Workshop — on Wednesday, November 30th, was an awesome class! Thanks to instructor, Bethany Dennin, for making such a wonderful experience for all. There were 21 participants, a much bigger class than last year.
• Youth Holiday Party — on December 9th, was a great event. 65 kids signed up. The “Susan Matson Distinguished Youth Award” was presented to Brody Baker during the event. Congratulations Brody! Thanks to everyone who helped. Photos were submitted to the Blue Stone Press and hopefully some will be printed.
• Senior Brunch — scheduled for Friday, December 16th, 10:00 am—12:00 pm. It may be canceled because of inclement weather; decision to be made on Thursday; if brunch is canceled, people will be informed and the Town Supervisor would post an announcement on the town’s website. If canceled, the Department will try to reschedule the event for the beginning of January (January 6?).
• Basketball Clinic ended. It was a great success. Over 20 kids were enrolled in the 6-week program. Thank you to Mike Smith Sr. for running it.
• Commission membership renewals — the 4 members whose term expire in December 2022 should check with Town Clerk Kate Gundberg regarding the renewal of their term.
