Supervisor Baden called the meeting to order and led in the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag.
ACCEPTANCE OF AGENDA:
Resolution # 145-2024:

The Town of Rochester Town Board accepts the agenda, as prepared by the Town Supervisor with the addition of adding a brief executive session on settlement agreement.
TOWN BOARD SCORING OF REQUEST FOR SEALED BIDS:
Supervisor Baden stated two bids have been received.

Discussion:
Councilwoman Smiseth stated that there seems to be a large disconnect between the employees and the Board regarding the building and would like to reject the bids until we can meet with the proper departments to discuss this project more in detail.
Several other Board members agreed and discussed setting up a meeting with departments to discuss concerns.
Supervisor Baden stated this started at the request of the Code Enforcement office, we sent it out to bid once with a 3,000 square foot building, the costs came back too high and we changed it to a 2,000 square foot building.
The Town of Rochester Town Board rejects the Records Storage building sealed bids.

APPOINTMENT OF COMMUNITY PRESERVATION PLAN COMMITTEE:
The Board agreed to discuss the candidate names in executive session.
Supervisor Baden stated that he sent the Natural resources inventory.
ZONING MAP:
The Board had a brief discussion regarding the zoning map and plan to discuss it further at the April workshop meeting.
PRESENTED LOCAL LAWS:
The Board discussed the 2 potential local laws regarding exemptions for First Time Homebuyers and Residential-Commercial Urban.
