Town Board Audit Meeting – March 2023

The Town of Rochester Town Board held the Audit Workshop Meeting on March 30, 2023 at 6:30pm at the Harold Lipton Community Center, 15 Tobacco Road Accord, NY 12404.

PRESENT:

Supervisor Baden called the meeting to order and led in the pledge of Allegiance to the Flag.

ACCEPTANCE OF AGENDA:
Resolution # 165-2023:

The Town of Rochester Town Board accepts the agenda as prepared by the Town Supervisor

JUSTICE COURT AUDIT:
Resolution # 166-2023:

Motion: Councilwoman Enouen
Second: Councilwoman Smiseth

The Town of Rochester Town Board authorize the Town Supervisor to send a copy of the audit of the Justice Court records for the fiscal year ending December 31, 2022 to the State of New York Unified Court System.

Councilwoman Enouen wanted to thank LeeAnn for all her help during the process she was a diligent go to record retriever on anything we needed.

COURTHOUSE WATER SYSTEM:
Resolution # 167-2023:

Motion: Supervisor Baden
Second: Councilwoman Smiseth

The Town of Rochester Town Board accepts the change order from M&T Solutions of 2767 Lucas Turnpike Accord, NY 12404 for a water system upgrade in amount of $ 8,600.00 upgraded to meet public code.

SUBDIVISION LAW:

The Board compared the Town of Rhinebeck to the Town of Rochester laws and made appropriate changes and will discuss further at another time.

GRANARY EEO APPLICATION SEQRA:

The Board reviewed Part 1 of SEQRA. Supervisor Baden stated that we are still waiting on the letter from SHPO.

AGRICULTURE ADVISORY COMMITTEE:

16 letters of interested were submitted. The Board was asked to review the letters and come up with 2 questions each for the interviews.

SECURITY CONSULTANT RFP SCORING:

The Board reviewed and scored the security RFP.

Proposal scoring:

Supervisor Baden stated that he would reach out to the companies to discuss what we are looking for and possible interviews.

REVIEW OF VOUCHERS:

Councilman Coleman left at 9:55pm.
