LOCAL LAW G OF 2024:
The Board agreed to move forward with Local Law G creating the advisory board from the Community Conservation Plan. They reviewed language of the law with Attorney Christiana and added required language that was left out previously. Supervisor Enouen is going to work with Town Attorney to update the proposed local law to present to the Board next week.
TEMPORARY LOAN TO THE HIGHWAY FUND:

Discussion: Supervisor Enouen wanted to clarify that the Highway dept is on budget, this is a cash flow issue with highway having a small fund balance there isn’t enough in the budget to float for paving. The loan is to help offset costs until CHIPS monies are received. Jessica in Highway has done a fantastic job monitoring the Highway budget, big kudos to her.

The Town of Rochester Town Board authorizes the budget officer to make a temporary loan from the General Fund to the Highway Fund in the amount of $300,000.00. Reimbursement to be made, including interest, which would have been accumulated where the funds to remain in the general fund, upon receipt of reimbursement of CHIPS funding, however no later than September 30, 2024.
