Creating a Special District – proposed Kerhonkson-Accord First Aid Squad Ambulance District

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the Town of Rochester Town Board has scheduled a public hearing on a proposed Kerhonkson-Accord First Aid Squad Ambulance District for 7/07/2022 at 6:30pm at the Harold Lipton Community Center, 15 Tobacco Road Accord, NY 12404.

The hearing shall hear all persons interested in the establishment of an ambulance district and entertain public comment and discussion on whether or not such ambulance district should be established. A description of the proposed KAFAS Ambulance District is the boundaries of the KAFAS coverage area located within the Town of Rochester boundaries, as has been registered with the Ulster County Division of Emergency Medical Services.

The object and purposes for which a new ambulance district is proposed is to permit the Town of Rochester to provide, arrange for and/or contract for ambulance services which provides sufficient funds to ensure an ambulance service is provided within the ambulance district.
A map, plan and report describing the proposed ambulance district shall be placed on file and is available for inspection in the office of the Town Clerk and on the Town website https://ecode360.com/RO1435/documents/Legislation/?.com)

PLEASE TAKE FURTHER NOTICE, Due to public health concerns, in-person attendance will be permitted, however the public will be fully able to observe the meetings via computer, smartphone, tablet, or other electronic device via YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCg7ykop50cWmqPFUpgDjRSQ

Participants who wish to offer comment at the public hearing may do so in one of 4 ways.

III. Public Hearing
Creating a Special District – proposed Marbletown First Aid Unit Ambulance District

PLEASE TAKE NOTICE that the Town of Rochester Town Board has scheduled a public hearing on a proposed Marbletown First Aid Unit Ambulance District for 7/07/2022 immediately following the 6:30pm public hearing for the KAFAS Ambulance District at the Harold Lipton Community Center, 15 Tobacco Road Accord, NY 12404.

The hearing shall hear all persons interested in the establishment of an ambulance district and entertain public comment and discussion on whether or not such ambulance district should be established. A description of the proposed MFAU Ambulance District is the boundaries of the MFAU coverage area located within the Town of Rochester boundaries, as has been registered with the Ulster County Division of Emergency Medical Services.
