Attendees: John Messerschmidt, Ann Belmont, Todd Anderson, Judith Karpova, Heather Eckardt, Erin Enouen,
Madeline’s Zoom link didn’t work so John started a new Zoom meeting. From here on out we will use the Town’s Zoom account.
Approve January Minutes: Approved
Discuss 2021 Annual Report John will do it and send to Erin and Kate.
Planning Board Applications None
Should we return to in person meetings in March? TBD. March 15, Gov Hochul may extend Covid zoom meetings.
Public Outreach: Todd is having trouble posting on FB, has Google Drive set up and contact list. He might need help with newsletter when we’re ready for that. Erin will help with FB

UPCOMING EVENTS
1. Earth Day Cleanup: April We will connect with Parks, offer a seed packet or tote bag or something.
2. Salamander Crossing: usually in April this will be spontaneous
3. Riverkeeper Riversweep in May: co host will be Mikala, need permission from landowner – Town Supervisor
4. Tire Pull in June
5. Restore American Chestnut event in spring Judith will create a form for the adoption of trees. Possibly plant in Watershed Park Preserve.
6. Arbor Day tree planting. Native trees have been confirmed. Next steps:

1. Third Thursday Nature Series: Waiting for Rosendale ECC meeting
2. Wildlife Corridor/209 Underpass: Chris Spatz will install wildlife cams. Ann will contact him.
3. 44/55 Beautification Project: Mikala and Hank Alicandri
4. Watershed Park Preserve: Erin is set to meet with Chris Hewitt on Monday
5. Climate Smart Community and Benchmarking: Erin was backup for Madeline and will attend classes
6. Pollinator garden for TOR: John and Larry
7. Plastic waste at RVSD: Ann.
8. Recruiting new ECC members
9. Mission Statement. Judith and Mikala first draft. Mikala will make first draft
10. Backyard National Forest: Judith
11. Transfer Station recycling, compost and Exchange: Erin wants to have an open house on a Sunday.

NEW PROJECTS:
Mid Hudson Valley Solar Mapping Project. Starts March 16, meets every 2 weeks, 6 meetings, looking for someone to attend them.
