Supervisor Baden called the meeting to order and led in the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag.
Supervisor Baden announced that the public hearing regarding the Granary has been cancelled.

APPROPRIATION AND TRANSFER OF ARPA FUNDS:

The Town of Rochester Town Board authorizes the Town Supervisor to appropriate $175,000 in American Rescue (ARPA) funding for the purposes of grant match for the Ulster County parks grant. The funds shall be transferred from ARPA receivable funds to the Capital Project fund.

The Board made appropriate changes to proposed Subdivision law as recommended by Attorney Christiana.
SEND REFERRALS TO ULSTER COUNTY PLANNING BOARD AND TOWN PLANNING BOARD:

The Town of Rochester Town Board authorizes the Town Clerk to send referrals to the Ulster County Planning Board and the Town of Rochester Planning Boards pertaining to the proposed subdivision as amended on 7/13/2023.

PHYSICAL SITE SECURITY CONSULTANT PROPOSALS:
Supervisor Baden told the Board that he met with 3 companies , 1 sent a proposal and another stated they would send one as well. Plan to discuss this futher at the August Town Board meeting.
ASSESSOR POSITION 2024:
Supervisor Baden presented the Board with an outline from the Town Assessor considering the idea of a full-time Assessor position in 2024.
