NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
PRELIMINARY BUDGET OF THE TOWN OF ROCHESTER
FOR THE YEAR 2024
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the Preliminary Budget of the Town of Rochester for the fiscal year beginning January 1, 2024, including general funds, highway funds, fire protection fire district, and light district funds, will be filed in the Office of the Town Clerk of the Town of Rochester on 10/27/2023, where it will be available for inspection by any interested person during office hours.
The Town Board of the Town of Rochester shall hold a public hearing on said preliminary budget on 11/09/2023 6:30pm at the Harold Lipton Community Center, 15 Tobacco Road Accord, NY 12404 showing such changes, alterations and revisions as shall have been made therein by the Town Board of the Town of Rochester. At such hearing, any person may be in favor of or against the preliminary budget as compiled or for or against any item or items therein contained.
Pursuant to Section 113 of Town Law, the proposed 2024 salaries of the following Town Elected Officials are hereby specified as follows:
Supervisor: $ 53,300.00
Councilperson: 4 @ $ 7,500.00
Town Clerk: $ 55,224.00
Town Justices: 2 @ $ 17,700.00
Highway Superintendent: $ 64,480.00
PLEASE TAKE FURTHER NOTICE, Due to public health concerns, in-person attendance will be permitted, however the public will be fully able to observe the meetings via computer, smartphone, tablet, or other electronic device via YouTube: https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCg7ykop50cWmqPFUpgDjRSQ

Please take notice that the Town of Rochester Town Board has scheduled a public hearing on proposed
local law 11-2023: Tax Cap override, for 11/9/2023 immediately following the 6:30pm public hearing on
the proposed 2024 Budget. The meeting will be held at the Harold Lipton Community Center, 15 Tobacco
Road Accord, New York 12404.
