Please take notice that the Town of Rochester Town Board has scheduled a public hearing for
Local Law I of 2024, imposing a 1.5 percent Real Estate Transfer Tax on the conveyance
of interests in real property in the Town, with the revenues derived from this tax to be deposited
in the Town of Rochester Community Preservation Fund for the purpose of preserving natural,
scenic, historic, and open space resources for the preservation of community character within the
Town on Thursday July 11, 2024, immediately following the proposed Local Law H-2024 at the
Harold Lipton Community Center 15 Tobacco Road Accord, NY 12404.
PLEASE TAKE FURTHER NOTICE the public will be fully able to observe the meetings via

Participants who wish to offer comment at the public hearing may do so in one of 4 ways.
