News – Applications Now Open-Non-Profit Recovery and Resilience Grant Program

$1.5 million in American Rescue Plan Act (ARPA) funds is now available to aid local non-profit and veterans’ service organizations in recovering from the COVID-19 public health crisis. The Non-Profit Recovery and Resilience Grant program is being administered by the Ulster County Recovery and Resilience Division.

Eligible 501(c)3 non-profits and 501(c)19 veterans’ service organizations have the opportunity to apply for funding to aid in offsetting the disproportionate negative economic effects and increased community needs of the pandemic. Funding is available for proposals of $5,000 or more, and less than $50,000. No local match is required.

Applicant organizations that meet the eligibility criteria must complete and submit applications by 3:00PM on May 6, 2022.

The application process includes an online submission form and must be signed by an authorized signatory for the organization, such as the Executive Director or Chief Executive Officer. All awardees will enter into a contract with Ulster County and will be expected to expend all funds within a year. Awardees will be required to provide quarterly reports on the use and expenditure of funds.
