NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, that pursuant to NYS Town Law, Article 16, Section 272-A, the Town Board of the Town of Rochester, will hold a public hearing on Amending the Town of Rochester Comprehensive Plan to include new appendices on December 10th, 2020 commencing at 6:30PM via videoconference and teleconference, consistent with NYS Governor’s Executive Order 202.1 and successors addressing the COVID-19 virus. The Town Board proposes to add
1. the Open Space Plan (2015) in its entirety
2. the Historic Resources Report (2008) in its entirety
3. the Natural Heritage Plan (NHP) pages 1 – 33
4. the Natural Heritage Plan (NHP) Appendix A: Conservation Open Area & Critical Environmental Areas Maps (pages 62 – 71)
5. the Natural Heritage Plan (NHP) Appendix B: Catskill Shawangunk Greenway Corridor (CSGC) Symposium Summary Report (pages 72 -76)
6. the Natural Heritage Plan (NHP) table of figures and details on working groups (pages 77 – 82)

PLEASE TAKE FURTHER NOTICE, Due to public health concerns, in-person attendance will not be permitted, however the public will be fully able to observe the meetings via computer, smartphone, tablet, or other electronic device. Participants who wish to offer comment at the public hearing may do so in one of 4 ways.

4. Prior to 4:00pm December 9, 2020 written comments may be submitted to the Town Clerk in person or via email to kgundberg@townofrochester.ny.gov
