Zoning Review Committee | Town of Rochester

Charge is to review the Town’s Zoning and Subdivision codes and, as needed,
to recommend additions and changes to the Town Board.

Zoning Review Committee Recommendations

Recommendations have been made to the Town Board by the Zoning Review Committee. The Zoning Review Committee (ZRC) was created by the Town Board to review our code in response to the changing needs of our residents. Members of this committee include representation from the Town Board, Planning Board, Zoning Board of Appeals, and the Code Enforcement Office. The ZRC recommendations can be found on the Town of Rochester Website at www.townofrochester.ny.gov or hard copies may be available at the Town Clerks Office. These are not laws. They are merely suggestions to the Town Board to consider and debate and to possibly become proposed law. Any proposed laws would then require public hearing(s) to be held prior to being enacted by the Town Board. The Town Board will review these recommendations and any public comments on any of these recommendations before taking any actions on these recommendations.
