A Motion was made Councilwoman Smiseth that the Town of Rochester Town Board agrees to fund a fireworks show with Santore’s World Famous Fireworks, LLC at a cost not to exceed $4000.00 for the Friends of Historic Rochester Heritage Day to be held October 1, 2022. The town fireworks permit fee shall be waived. Santore’s to provide a Certificate of Insurance naming the Town of Rochester as additionally insured. Such budget appropriation to be from General Fund A7550.470, Celebrations.

CAUSE OF A LOAN FROM GENERAL FUND TO HIGHWAY FUND:
Resolution # 341 -2022:
A Motion was made Councilman Paddock that pursuant to General Municipal Law 9-a, the Town of Rochester Town Board authorizes the Supervisor to cause a loan to be made by the general Fund to the Highway Fund in the amount of $ 500,000.00. Said loan to be repaid in full including the monthly interest generated by the amount of the loan, as soon as the 2022 CHIPS reimbursement check is received and not later than December 30, 2022.

The Board discussed the options for the building use for the day and agreed that the office will remain open.
Ulster County Environmental Management Council, Rochester representative:
Councilwoman Enouen will reach out to members on the ECC to see if anyone is interested.
EEO Zoning Designation, SEQRA consultant report – 2,4, and 8 Towpath Rd:
The Board reviewed the comments submitted by Peak Engineering and discussed the recommendations.
EEO Zoning Designation, amendment for new use – 2919 Lucas Tpk:
The Board read the comments submitted from the Code Enforcement Officer and agreed to schedule a special meeting with the applicant.
