Proposed Local Law # 7-2022: Amending Chapter 132: Vehicle and Traffic

PUBLIC COMMENT:

Meg Smith: I do not think the Board should be setting fine amounts. It should be set by the Judge.

Bea Haugen-Depuy: asked for clarification of the proposed law and the ticket would be issued to the vehicle not the driver?

Shirley Avery: Deep hole: there is no hydrant for fill station for the fire dept. would that constitute as an extra charge?

Marc Grasso: feels the Judge should be identifying rates of fines at Court rather than a flat fee, or flat fee first then Judge should decide after.

CLOSURE OF PUBLIC HEARING:

A Motion was made by Councilman Coleman to close the public hearing on proposed local law 7-2022 at 7:42.
