Proposed Amendments to the
Federal Fiscal Year (FFY) 2020-2024
Transportation Improvement Program (TIP)

The Ulster County Transportation Council (UCTC) has initiated a 15 day public comment period on proposed amendments to the Federal Fiscal Year (FFY) 2020-2024 Transportation Improvement Program (TIP).

Transportation Improvement Program
The TIP is a five-year capital program that assigns federal funds to transportation projects located in Ulster County. The proposed amendment to the TIP is as follows:

  • Resolution 2021-09: Amendment of Multi-County PIN 881451, Culvert Replacements on State Highways. Culverts C870094, C84025A, C840069, C850011, C850077, and C870069
    Location: Town of Lloyd, Gardiner Ulster County. Village of Montgomery, Hamptonburgh, and Blooming Grove, Orange County.

  • Resolution 2021-10: Addition of new PIN 814168, US Route 44/State Route 55 at Bruynswick Road(CR7) Intersection Improvements.
    Location: Town of Gardiner, Ulster County
    Sponsor: NYSDOT

Public Comments
Written comments on the above items may be sent to the Ulster County Transportation Council, c/o Brian Slack, 244 Fair Street, PO Box 1800, Kingston, NY 12402-1800 or emailed to bsla@co.ulster.ny.us.  The public comment period ends Wednesday, October 20th at 5:00pm.

The UCTC Policy Committee is scheduled to meet Tuesday October 26th, 2021 at 10:00 am via teleconference and videoconference to discuss public comments received and consider adopting the proposed amendments to the TIP.  All UCTC meetings begin with an open call for public comment.
