Zoning Review Committee

Absent: Becky Paddock Stange, Jerry Davis, Brenda Striano

The Committee agreed that its proposal for short term rental regulation was in final form and ready to be presented to the Town Board.

The group discussed research concerning the effect of electronic message signs on driver distraction, and considered NYS guidelines for the regulation of such signs. The group decided to seek further guidance on the issue from the County Planning Department.

The ZRC also discussed the purpose for and type of regulation of temporary structures and the definitions needed for such regulation.

The ZRC‘s next meeting is scheduled for Wednesday, July 6 at 1 pm at Town Hall.
