Zoning Review Committee

The Committee decided to address zoning for large-scale solar uses at a future date, and began work on a provision for short-term rentals.

The group looked at short term rental permitting provisions from four New York municipalities: City of Oneonta, Town of Milford, Town of Otsego, and Village of Cooperstown. The discussion centered on which definitions and regulations would best serve the Town of Rochester and which would need to be altered to do so. The group planned to examine a first draft at its next meeting.

The ZRC is next scheduled to meet on Friday May 20 at 1 pm at Town Hall.
