Zoning Review Committee

Present: Carl Chipman, Mike Baden, Beatrice Haugen-Depuy, Brenda Striano, Becky Paddock Stange, Steve Fornal, Sherry Chachkin

Also Present: Mary Lou Christiana, attorney for the Town

The Committee approved the February 19, 2016 ZRC minutes.

The group went over suggested draft definitions to be added to §140-4 and a draft subsection G, Small Scale Solar Energy Systems, to be added to §140-13, Accessory Structures and Uses.

The ZRC also discussed a draft definition, Solar Energy Production Facility (Solar Farm) as an addition to §140-4 and a draft new section, 140-37, Solar Energy Production Facilities, a new use.

The Committee agreed to consider these draft additions in final form at its next meeting..

The ZRC planned to examine the Commercial Events Facilities provision, §140-35, at its next meeting.

The ZRC’s next meeting is scheduled for March 4, 2016, 1 pm at Town Hall.
