MINUTES
YOUTH COMMISSION MEETING
February 17, 2016

The meeting started at 9:50 am.

Present: Sandy Chipman, Jessica Knapp, Manuela Michailescu, Pam
Stocking, Recreation/Youth Dept. Director Carol Dennin. Absent: Town
Board Liaison Cindy Fornino.

The minutes of the January 20, 2016 meeting were reviewed. Pam
Stocking made a motion to approve the minutes and Sandy Chipman
seconded the motion, which was approved unanimously.

A verbal Director’s Report was presented by Carol Dennin:
• uncertainty regarding the basketball program – no schedule presented
yet; the program is not doing so well as in the past without Sue
Smith, who used to do all paperwork, notices, etc.; Carol was
personally going over there that evening to check everything and get
clarifications
• Summer program – 19 kids signed up already

NEXT EVENTS:
— St. Patrick’s Day luncheon, March 17, 2016, 11:30 am to 1 pm
— Easter Egg Hunt — Saturday, March 26, starting at 12 noon in
Town’s park in Accord

The meeting adjourned around 10:15 am.

The next meeting is on March 23, 2016, 9:30 am at the Community Center
(to prepare the Easter Egg Hunt bags).
