Town Board Audit/Workshop Meeting – July 2019

The July 25, 2019Audit/ Workshop Meeting was held at 6:00pm at the Town of Rochester Town Hall.

The Audit for Abstract 07-2019 was held at 6:00pm.

The Workshop meeting began at 6:40pm.

AUTHORIZING THE SUPERVISOR TO REQUEST CONVEYANCE TO THE TOWN OF ROCHESTER OF REAL PROPERTY FROM ULSTER COUNTY:
Resolution # 188-2019:
A Motion was made by Councilman Drabkin authorizing the Supervisor to send letter of request to the Ulster County Legislature requesting conveyance to the Town of Rochester of real property located at Creek Road in the Hamlet of Alligerville, Town of Rochester, as described in the map and description prepared by Prudent Engineering, dated July 17, 2019.

A Motion was made by Council Drabkin to approve payment of Abstract 07-2019 in the amount of;

DISCUSSION:
Art Lapp Alligerville Bridge Dedication – 11am Friday July 26, 2019
Assessor Local Law Request: September meeting the Board will have to amend Local Law for Seniors to receive extension to file exemptions.
CyberGuardian IT Consultant: The Board discussed the quote received. Supervisor Baden asked the Board to compile questions they have for the IT consultant and Supervisor Baden will also get another quote.

EXECUTIVE SESSION:

A Motion was made by Supervisor Baden to enter into executive session at 7:03pm for the purposes of discussion concerning three employee matters as follows. The attorney for the Town is requested to attend, the Town Municipal Consultant will attend via conference call, the Deputy Highway Superintendent is requested to attend for item i.
i. matters leading to the employment, demotion, discipline, suspension, dismissal or removal of a particular employee
ii. matters leading to the employment, demotion, discipline, suspension, dismissal or removal of a particular employee
iii. the medical history of a particular employee
