The Audit/Workshop Meeting was held on August 28, 2014 at 5:00 pm at the Town Hall.

PLEDGE:
Supervisor Chipman opened the meeting and Lene Fornino led in the Pledge of Allegiance to the Flag.
NULLIFY AN APPLICATION RECEIVED:
Supervisor Chipman stated that it was brought to his attention that one application was received after the time legally published. Councilwoman Chachkin stated ordinarily it would be appropriate to allow for an explanation as to why the timing was late for submitted letter of interest, allow the applicant to express if he/ she had any extenuating circumstances, but timing issues make it advisable to nullify the application to avoid the possibility that the town board will hold an unnecessary special meeting on September 2.The Board encourages anyone interested is free to attend the caucus and have the opportunity to run for Town Board.
Resolution # 94-2014:
A Motion was made by Supervisor Chipman to nullify the application was that received after the deadline.
Seconded by: Councilman Spano 4-0aye, motion carried
Supervisor Chipman directed Town Clerk Gundberg to cancel the Special Meeting Scheduled for 9/2/2014 at 5pm.
INTERVIEWS FOR VACANT COUNCIL SEAT TERM TO EXPIRE 12/31/2014:
The Town Board held interviews with Cindy Fornino, William “Cliff” Mallory and Manuela Michailescu for the vacated position on the Town Board.

A Motion was made by Councilman Spano to approve the following bills as audited this date
General Fund Abstract 8 of 2014 $ 51,737.18 Highway Fund Abstract 8 of 2014 $ 171,157.70
Street Lighting $ 412.48

SIGNED RECEIPT OF SERVICES RENDERED:
Resolution # 95-2014:
A Motion was made by Councilman Drabkin to send out a memo to Town Employees that a signed receipt is required for all bills when services are rendered.

CONSTABULARY :
Councilman Spano passed out packets of a draft mission statement and policy in regards to the Constabulary. Councilman Spano asked that the board review and give feedback as time goes on.
