Motion authorizing the Supervisor to enter into an agreement with The Climate Reality Project Hudson Valley & Catskills Chapter for ther100% Committed Campaign

• xx of 2018 – Cyclical Re-assessment Plan
Motion to adopt the Cyclical Re-assessment Plan and 2019 Revaluation Schedule, as presented by the T/Rochester Assessor; and to authorize the Assessor to complete a data verification of all town properties; and to provide funding for postage and mailing in the 2019 budget; and to authorize the Supervisor to sign and submit the Plan for Cyclical Reassessments to the NYS Office of Real Property Tax Services.

Motion to refund Daniel Feldman the $500 application fee for Special Use Permit 2018-02 SUP due to rescinding his application prior to any Planning Board review.

Motion to amend Resolution #16 of 2018, amending the established 2018 Salary and Wage Schedule, as presented Impact to budget: -$141.40

• xx of 2018 – Authorizing Supervisor to Enter into a Contract on Behalf of the Town
Motion to authorize the Supervisor to enter into a contract with Sickler, Torcia, Allen, & Churchill, CPA’s, PC payable at an hourly rate for the services as presented with the total not to exceed $3500 and to reimburse travel expenses from their office to the T/Rochester Town Hall at the current IRS mileage rate of $.545 per mile.
1. Review the Town of Rochester bill payment and voucher system as is done currently and offer suggestions and procedures to implement as how to improve the efficiency, legal, and accounting principles of the current process.
2. Review the bookkeeping practices currently employed by the Town of Rochester and offer suggestions and procedures to implement as how to improve the efficiency, legal, and accounting principles of the current process.

• xx of 2018 –Requesting NYSDOT Speed Study – Kyserike Road
Motion to request the New York State Department of Transportation to conduct a speed study of Kyserike Road near the Rondout High School to establish a lower maximum school zone speed limit

• xx of 2018 – Vendor Rate
Motion to increase the rate paid to Sheila Brown for custodian services at the Community Center, Highway Dept., and Justice Court to $14.00 per hour effective April 1, 2018.

• xx of 2018 – Request for Bid – Abrasive Screened Sand
Motion to authorize the Town Clerk to advertise a request for bids for abrasive screened sand. Sealed bids shall be received by mail or in person on or before 5/2/2018 at 11:00am in the office of the Town of Rochester Clerk PO Box 65 Accord, New York 12404 where they will be opened and read aloud. A non-collusion form must be included. The Town Board has the right to reject any and all bids.

Specifications: The sand shall be hard with 100% passing 3/8″ screen, not more than 25% passing #50 mesh and not more than 4% passing #200 mesh and must be readily usable in spreading equipment. Sand is to be made available for pickup by trucks designated by authorized entities and operated by authorized personnel.

Bid prices shall be priced per ton only, variations will not be accepted. Bids shall be guaranteed valid for a period of 1 year from award date of bid. The bidder’s attention is called to the fact that if scales are not available at plant site, the bidder must state conversion factor-weight per cubic yard on bid conversion sheet.

• xx of 2018 – Request for Quote from Vendor – Tree Trimming
Motion to authorize the Town Clerk to advertise a request quotes from vendors to provide tree trimming services. Each option shall be a separate quote. Sealed quotes shall be received by mail or in person on or before 5/2/2018 at 11:05am in the office of the Town of Rochester Clerk PO Box 65 Accord, New York 12404 where they will be opened and read aloud. A non-collusion form must be included. The Town Board has the right to reject any and all quotes.

Option 1 – Bucket truck w/operator and groundman
Option 2 – Bucket truck w/operator, groundman, chip truck, chipper and stump grinder
Option 3 – Bucket truck w/operator, groundman, chip truck, chipper, stump grinder, and log truck

Quotes shall be furnished based on an 8-hour day, daily flat-rate fee. Quotes shall be guaranteed valid for a period of 1 year from award date of quote. Vendors shall certify in writing they will comply with the insurance requirements of the Town and any and all federal, state, or local laws or regulations.
