MINUTES OF August 9, 2011 Regular MEETING of the Town of Rochester PLANNING BOARD, held at the Town Hall, Accord, NY.
Chairman Baden called the meeting to order at 7:00 PM.
Chairman Baden asked the Secretary for roll call attendance.

ANNOUNCEMENTS
Chairman Baden noted the Body of Truth Public Hearing that was scheduled for this meeting had been postponed until September at the request of the applicant.
Chairman Baden updated the Board on the approved 3 lot Subdivision for Ian Reed. Mr. Reed filed the maps and Road Maintenance Agreement with the County and has turned copies back into the Planning Board Office.
The last announcement Chairman Baden had was in regards to the Town having their own training session. He’s been trying to find someone to teach it. The Town Attorney was too busy, she gave him some other leads, but those did not work out either. He is offering a one month offer to Board Members for 1 hour of training for reviewing the DEC’s SEQRA Handbook on their own. The Secretary could email members the link to it. It is very detailed and offers a lot of details about SEQRA. This is a good thing for members to review even if they already know it. There would be no test, this would be on the honor system.
Mr. Ricks thought that this was a good idea as it really pertained to Board Members.
