Application made to Malcolm Gordon Charitable Fund for support the Alligerville Historic District Project was turned down. We are encouraged to apply again in the future.

Alligerville Historic District Project – Letters have been exchanged with Rob Rominger of the Rondout Esopus Land Conservancy in the effort to solicit support for the Alligerville Historic District Project. Rob has requested answers to several questions in order for him to present our request to the RELC Board. Ward Mintz will prepare answers to these questions.
Neil Larson and Bill Krattinger will be invited to attend the public meeting which is being planned to introduce the Alligerville project to the property owners involved, and to the wider community.
This public program is planned for March 28, 2014. Prior to that date, certain owners will be contacted to solicit their understanding and support of the project: Frank and Keith (Alice S.); Mary Jane Knudsen (Walter); Sterritt Smith (Ward), Bot Dandrew (Ward), Jonathan Nedbor (Alice C.), Art Markle (Walter); Peter and Penny Kunz (Alice C.); Rose Kukas (Ward).
Walter will work up a “script” to be the basis for our conversations with the above mentioned residents of Alligerville.
Walter will research the matter of location for the meeting (either the RELC headquarters or the schoolroom in the Schoolhouse/Firehouse).

Liaison Report –Sherry Chachkin brought us up to date on TB activity.
Also, Sherry will contact Lynn Archer to see ask Lynn whether she knows how to contact IndyMac, the bank that holds the mortgage on the Brick House. We are still trying to get the bank to be responsible for the external appearance of the property.
