Pavement Sealing Work Scheduled for Twelve Roads in the Months of June and August.

The following roads are scheduled to be sealed with a mixture of rock and oil beginning the week of June 26, 2017.

Here’s a look at the tentative roadwork schedule.

Week of June 26:
• Sahler Road
• DeJager Lane
• Canyon Lake Road

Weeks of August 7 and August 14:
• Schroon Hill Road
• DeWitt Road
• Beehive Road
• Dug Road
• Mount Laurel Road
• Wood Road
• Lang Road
• Franklin Lane
• Old Mettacahonts Road

Weather and/or construction delays will alter the work schedule.

During the work, drivers can expect one-lane traffic or temporary road closures.

Drivers are urged to reduce their speed when traveling over sections that have been recently sealed.

The paving and chip-seal planned for these roads are an economical way to maintain and preserve the roadway. These surface treatments keep a road from deteriorating and extend its life.

PRIOR TO SEALING THESE ROADWAYS, THERE WILL BE ONGOING PREPARATION WORK TO THESE ROADS. PLEASE EXCERCISE CAUTION WHEN TRAVELING.
